Gifts & Books
The gift shop offers many unusual gifts relating to the Norwegian and German cultures of Bosque County. Items include many rosemaling items and cards, imported jewelry from Norway, trolls, straw ornaments and Norwegian flag chains. Unique gifts range from “Legalize Lutefish” bumper stickers to custom-made Texas-Norwegian socks.
The shop is a favorite destination for early Christmas shoppers. The shop offers Old World German glass ornaments in a variety of styles as well as Scandinavian Christmas tree ornaments.
Visitors during the Spring and Summer can find unique matted Texas wildflower images ready for framing. Bosque County is known for its “wildflower show” in the Spring and a photograph is a way to remember its beauty throughout the year.
